Honestly, that’s something that I needed. We just hung out and talked video games, went creeping on Facebook, just chilled and had a good day. It’s definitely something to take the stress and tension that happens at college away.
And today (being that it’s 1 in the morning where I am now) is my wonderful girlfriend’s birthday. So I’m gonna pick her up early, we’re gonna hang out at my house, we’re gonna go to church (that is, if she still wants to go), and then we’re gonna go eat and other fun activities and end the night at her house. I think that’s the plan at least. It sounds like a good plan to me.
And then Sunday I say good-bye to my family home and go back to college. As much as I miss college, I think coming in this weekend is a good thing. I didn’t think it at first, but I do now. :)
Honestly, it wasn’t that big of a deal to me.
Like, the first night I got back, there was absolutely NOTHING to do. Not only did it take extra long to get back home because of all the extra flooding, when I got there it was literally dead. Nobody was doing anything, everyone was just sitting around. It was painful, I ended up downloading a movie because I got bored of everything else I would normally do.
The second day was a lot better though. Mainly because I got to see my girlfriend. All day. Like… We went out to eat, and we relaxed at my house, we watched movies and sat around and used her laptop, we cuddled and such… It was just a good day.
The last day was basically like the day before it. I mean I had to drive my brother around places because he had football practice… But that was alright, I still got to spend time with my one and only.
She’s the only reason I keep coming back from college. The fact that she’s in North Pocono while I’m here at Elizabethtown. Only a few more years, and we can live with each other… That’s not that far away. <3
